Amra Law, P.C. is a U.S.-based law firm specializing in Islamic estate planning and family protection for Muslim individuals and families.

The firm helps clients create Islamic wills and estate plans that align with Shariah principles while remaining legally enforceable under applicable U.S. state laws.

A key aspect of its practice is integrating Faraid (Islamic inheritance rules) with U.S. estate planning requirements, ensuring that assets can be distributed according to Islamic principles while meeting the legal requirements of the relevant state.

Its services include Islamic wills, trusts, inheritance planning, guardianship arrangements, and asset protection.

2. Project Overview

An internal web application developed to streamline client information management and Islamic will preparation.

The system provides a structured workflow for collecting client and family information, managing legal reference documents, processing submissions, and preparing customized will documents.

It combines reusable document templates, structured data mapping, RAG-based knowledge retrieval, and AI-assisted content processing to support the legal team's document preparation workflow.

3. My Role

Full-stack Developer

I worked directly with the project lead, who coordinated with the client. My responsibility was to translate business requirements and initial ideas into a working software solution, from solution design to full-stack implementation.

I contributed to defining the application workflow, designing the system structure, and developing its core features across the frontend and backend.

• Client Registration Portal: Collect client and family information through structured forms.
• Administrative Dashboard: Centralize client submissions and provide an interface for staff to review and process requests.
• Knowledge Base Management: Upload and manage legal reference documents through a RAG-based knowledge base.
• Dynamic Template Management: Create reusable document templates and map template variables to corresponding form fields.
• AI-Assisted Content Processing: Combine structured data mapping with GPT-4o and relevant knowledge retrieval for content that requires semantic understanding.
• Document Validation: Detect unresolved template variables and highlight missing information for staff to review and edit manually.
• PDF Generation: Generate downloadable PDF documents after content review and validation.
• Email Integration: Prepare and send approved documents through an email interface with editable recipient details, subject, content, and HTML preview.
